Inspired by the Monsters Inc. door opening credits, the door shapes are the portals to the world of Pixar. They reflect Pixar’s quirky personality, while bold colors reflect the diversity of the stories. At the same time, these slanted rectangles are the perfect solution for keeping each IP separate, which sparked major kudos from the Pixar marketing team.
100+ social, CTV, display, and animated display banners were created for the campaign, including versions for different regions around the world, such as APAC. A few years later, after a Disney+ rebrand, the UK design team adapted this design with a new background and logo, and the campaign lives on with successful engagement and subscriber numbers.
