Beyond that, he is hard-working and outspoken about media law and helping students understand legal issues, but he also makes people laugh with his unexpected humor. Freedom Slab echoes his dynamic personality. At first, you might notice its strong structure—rigid and judicial. But upon closer inspection, you notice curves as subtle as his wit and consistent stroke widths that reflect the strict and concrete laws he both champions and challenges. Short descenders paired with the slab's heavy weight mirrors Prof. Gutterman's powerful mix of introversion and outspokenness. At the baseline, bold and sturdy serifs reveal a firm foundation, essential when juggling his many roles—professor, author, director, soccer player.
